Again, for the price we pay it's like winning a lottery. Other favorites that we almost always get: Salmon and Beef teriyaki, Shrimp tempura, Shu Mai, Deep fried scallops, and their fried rice (seafood or beef). Per visit, we would do 3 of those regular ones plus the peanut and sweet potato rolls. Otherwise, we get just regular ones like Boston, Philadelphia, Rainbow, Dynamite, and Crazy rolls. Top favorites without fish: Peanut rolls & sweet potato rolls. Lunch ends at 230pm and the restaurant is closed and re-opens at 4:30pm for dinner. For the price we pay ($15.99 per person during lunch, M-F), we always manage to get everything we want to eat plus some. When my husband and I feel like having sushi, Kyoto Sushi always comes to mind. She was unfriendly the whole time we were there, so I shouldn’t of been surprised! It takes so little to smile, be kind and just reasonable! I will never return to Maple Grove Kyoto again! More She replied she is not rude and for 5.90 I could pay for a carry out!!? Whatever!! My friend thought I should ask for the manager, but at that point I was so confused, frustrated and annoyed I wanted the bill and just get out of there! I live closer to the Kyoto in Eden Prarie, I will go there from now on! I do not understand what her motive was! If she needed the table, fine we would leave, but then started an argument over wasting food? How rude, and I told her that! She replies “ oh no you have been here 2 hours, other guests are waiting!? What the hell? I understand it says on the menu wasting excess food you will be charged!, but this was FAR from excess!! I said okay, we will sit and eat the rest ! It was so embarrassing since it was my treat and I had been there before and really enjoyed it! My friend and I were shocked! There were maybe 3 tiny salmon rolls left and 2 other pieces of sushi!! The issue I had is when it was getting close to the 2 hour limit of eating there, I had not asked for the check yet, the waitress said “well, you need to pay for the items you didn’t. Overall great value for what you are offered, not the best sushi we have ever eaten but not the worst ether. We just ordered more sashimi and sushi then. We did notice though as the second and third orders came the rolls were stuffed mostly with veggies and not so much of the seafood. The All-You-Could-Eat Menu included appetizers, SASHIMI, Sushi ,a wide assortment of rolls and even dessert. We love sushi and when we heard about this place we had to try it, All-You-Can eat and we could order off the menu instead of waiting for a little boat to come by with something good on it was such a bonus. We were just happy to know that next time we should call further in advance to make a reservation most places don’t even take reservations anymore. We tried to make reservations on our way and they said they were full and the wait would be 30-35 minutes and they wouldn’t put us on the waiting list until we got there, which is normal for a Friday at any other place. A group of 5 of us went to Kyoto last Friday and had a great time.
